Call for Nominations and Deadlines
SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY Nominations for 2010 and 2011 Honorary Degrees
You are Hereby notified that the Senate Committee on Honorary Degrees is soliciting nominations from faculty, staff, and students for candidates to receive honorary degrees at the 2010 and 2011 commencements.
To submit a nomination, send
- A nomination form;
- A statement explaining the basis for honoring the individual and referring to the selection criteria whenever possible;
- a copy of the nominee's vitae or resume or a list of the candidate's professional history and contributions;
- if appropriate, include additional information such as letters of support or materials or writings that attest to the eminence of the candidate.
Each nomination should not exceed eight (8) pages.
